Customer Delivery Terms & Acknowledgement

Version 1.0 · Effective 28 August 2026

1. Scope of Service

ReturnRunner's responsibility is limited to collecting the item from the customer and delivering it to the specified destination, such as a post office, parcel locker, or nominated carrier.

2. Packaging and Item Condition

I confirm that the item is properly packaged, securely sealed, and ready for transport. I am responsible for ensuring that the packaging is suitable to protect the item during normal transportation.

ReturnRunner is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate, unsafe, or unsuitable packaging.

3. Contents and Value

I confirm that the information I provide about the item is accurate.

ReturnRunner is not responsible for the contents, condition, authenticity, legality, or value of the item unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.

I will not include prohibited, dangerous, illegal, hazardous, or restricted items in the package.

4. Delivery to Post Office or Carrier

Once ReturnRunner has delivered the item to the specified post office, parcel locker, retailer, or carrier and the item has been accepted or handed over, ReturnRunner's delivery responsibility ends.

Any subsequent loss, damage, delay, misdelivery, tracking issue, return, or other problem caused by the retailer, post office, parcel carrier, or other third party must be addressed with that relevant third party.

5. Delays and Third-Party Issues

ReturnRunner is not responsible for delays or issues caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including delays, closures, operational issues, or errors by retailers, post offices, parcel carriers, or other third parties.

6. Prohibited Items

I confirm that the item does not contain any prohibited, dangerous, illegal, hazardous, or restricted goods.

ReturnRunner may refuse to transport an item if there is a reasonable concern regarding its contents, packaging, safety, or legality.

7. Customer Responsibility

I am responsible for providing:

  • the correct pickup information;
  • the correct delivery destination;
  • accurate item information; and
  • appropriate packaging.

ReturnRunner is not responsible for issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by me.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ReturnRunner's liability is limited to the delivery service provided by ReturnRunner and does not extend to loss, damage, delay, or other issues caused by the item, inadequate packaging, incorrect information provided by the customer, or the actions or omissions of a third party after the item has been handed over.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable Australian law.

9. Customer Confirmation

By proceeding with the booking, I confirm that I have read and understood these terms and agree to the responsibilities and limitations described above.
